Sacred Space: Cannabis & SoundSeed Ceremony
Join Ocian with SoundSeed Medicine Journeys and Nature’s Chef, Tom Kral for a ceremonial smoke circle in sacred tipi space. We’ll explore the incredible benefits and healing abilities of both plant and sound together.
We will share in an opening intention and herbal smoke circle, then rest upon the earth and cocoon ourselves in the nurturing sound bath of SoundSeed Medicine. This shamanic journey is held between the spaces of your own intention, and the collective yes to explore these foundational medicines of life.
As we come down from journey Chef Tom will offer nourishment from the landscape to ground us. Nature inspired plant based, gluten free light snack and wild tea provided. There will be lots of integration and sharing time so we don’t feel rushed to leave.
*Please arrive at for 4pm for our ceremony start at 4:20pm. 😉
PLEASE BRING: yoga mat or camping mattress (some provided), blanket, cushion, journal.
If you’d like to bring plant medicine or snacks to share please do.
Keep in mind this is a semi-outside event, please prepare yourself so you have a comfortable experience. (ie. your body temperature will decrease when lying still for the sound journey, so bring warm layers.)
* Parking is recommended on Ella Road: you can pull to the right of the forest edge then walk down our driveway. The address, 7239/7237, marked on driftwood signage is quite visible, but in case you miss it, it’s the 5th driveway down Ella Road to the left. Stay to the right of the house and you will see a trail behind the trampoline that leads to the tipi. Come in and make yourself a nest.
Public transit is an option, as the location is on the Sooke bus route. Only a 5min walk!

From a child growing up in a family run deli to former owner and executive chef of a renowned restaurant and catering in Toronto, ON., he finally came to settle in supernatural BC because of the irresistible call for the wild. His passion for putting medicine back into our food quickly grew into a whole new genre of dining experience which he delivers to others through edutainment.
