Nature’s Chef invites you into his world, a place he has found to be lush with ingredients. Enjoy a guided expedition along the Salish sea, starting at Nature’s Chef home base located off of Ella beach. Easily accessible from BC transit the bus stop is 5min walk away. Either from Victoria, Swarts Bay ferry terminal or Victoria airport. Sooke's landscape is magical, where river meets the sea provides a explosion of life. Water’s, forest, mountains offer inspiring foods for a chef off the beaten path.
What to expect | In a day trip you’ll be reconnected with your food and going on adventure. Light hiking, swimming, foraging and education as you journey. We meet and share snacks at Nature’s Chef head quarters, to give a chance we can connect with each other. From there we’ll hop in the “green submarine” to our secret destination. Relying on a Mitsubishi Delica we’ll be cruising into the bush. Of coarse need to be properly nourished on adventure, picnic will be packed. Sit back and take in the scene while lunch is being prepared.
As we wind down appetite will be earned, depending on season dinner location will be accordingly.

Tom’s desire to cook on the wild side will spark a unique dining experience like no other. Each meal to be prepared with maximum nutrition. Use of primitive cooking techniques with a modern interpretation.
